Services

Electing to take a gap year or career break is a bold and exciting decision. At EnRoute, we pride ourselves in understanding the complicated process of planning and successfully executing a gap year and eagerly work to provide excellent service to every client. Each EnRoute consultation is unique and completely customized based on the student’s individual objectives.

Every potential client family is entitled to a free introductory conversation. This hour-long dialogue offers you an opportunity to get to know our process and brainstorm about the possibilities of gap time. To set up an introductory conversation, fill out our online questionnaire and we will be in touch to book a time.

Standard Consultation: $1,775

A Standard Consultation is the ideal budget-oriented choice for a family who desires the unique, personalized service from EnRoute. A Standard Consultation will begin with a no-obligation introductory conversation to go over a completed questionnaire, to discuss the fundamentals of a gap year, as well as review the role EnRoute will play in the planning process. After you become an official client, EnRoute will officially begin researching opportunities with your parameters in mind.

Services Included with a Standard Consultation:

  • Initial introductory assessment to determine goals of time off and process of planning gap year
  • A 15-hour phone call/meeting retainer for use by students and parents to structure and clarify their plans, plus unlimited e-mailing
  • Program and activity recommendations based on a personalized, extensive search of reputable and vetted service/travel organizations based on consults and/or meetings
  • Assistance in budgeting, itinerary and other logistical issues
  • Working closely with parents to instill confidence in the reliability of chosen organizations and programs
  • Pre-departure preparation assistance
  • On-the-Ground Support

The formal services associated with the Standard Consultation end when the student returns from their time off or when the 15 hour retainer is exhausted.

On-the-Ground Support

Parents and Students will have the peace of mind of having EnRoute available during their Gap Year should the itinerary need to be altered or if you’d like to have the option of continuing to plan during the year. On-the-Ground Support is included with our Standard Consultation.

Services Included with On the Ground Support:

  • Check-Ins with student while they are traveling
  • Support and guidance should a student need to alter their travel plans
  • Continued program and activity recommendations as needed
  • Additional pre-departure assistance as needed

Budget-conscious families have the option of opting out of the On-the-Ground support and receiving the core planning services for $1,350. Formal EnRoute services will terminate when the student begins their gap year (but we will still check in of course!).

*Note: EnRoute is not responsible for any fees or lost deposits associated with terminating an opportunity or changing flight/travel plans.

EnRoute Changemakers: $2,500
